Info for Parents
We firmly believe that LiNC is one of the best ways your son or daughter can spend their summer for the Lord, and we're committed to supporting both you and them through it.
Parents, we're here for you.
We are so excited that your son or daughter is considering taking part in LiNC in 2023! There are so many opportunities to consider for the summer months. We've found that the experience at LiNC has helped many students develop a deeper walk with God and gain confidence in their ability to share their faith not only with their peers but people in any stage of life. Here are some answers to a few of the burning questions that are often on parents' minds:
It is not required for students to fundraise (or "raise support") in order to participate in LiNC. We encourage students to consider it because of the tremendous opportunity it provides for them to trust God to meet a specific need.
Should your son or daughter raise support, we will work with them to the best of our ability to provide them training and resources. If they or you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our staff.
We keep a pretty rigorous schedule at LiNC, but we still encourage each of our participants to keep in touch with you as much as time and resources allow for it. (We know you miss them while they're away!)
We ask that participants limit their travels during LiNC for the sake of team unity and program continuity. (But we know things come up!)
You are welcome to come and visit your son or daughter at any time! We'd love for you to see them and the LiNC program firsthand. Because it is important for the success of everyone involved in LiNC, we do ask that visitors join in the LiNC schedule rather than removing a student from program activities. Just let our staff know when you'd like to pay us a visit!
